Charis (pronounced care-iss) is named after our owner’s mother, Joan Charis Smith Jandernoa, who taught him that sharing music paired with a drink, lively conversation and the people you love is one of the best parts of life. Our hope is that Charis is a space that brings more of those moments for our friends, neighbors, and guests.

Sonic curation by the wonderful 606 Records keeps our music on point and the record bins are full of gems.

Beverage direction by Gina Hoover makes sure each drink is a treat for the senses.
